Notably Good is a gratitude journal designed to help users consistently record three positive experiences at a time of their choosing each day, or intermittently if preferred. Grounded in the principles of positive psychology, this exercise aims to enhance overall mood, happiness, positivity, and resilience by encouraging reflection on affirmative events and actions.

The journal addresses the psychological tendency known as negativity bias, which can lead to an overemphasis on adverse outcomes. Rather than promoting avoidance of negative experiences, Notably Good seeks to contextualize them, fostering resilience and a more constructive internal dialogue.

The app includes several user-friendly features, such as customizable reminders, encouragement alerts, and options for changing fonts and theme colors. An optional login screen is available through in-app purchase, enhancing user privacy. It is important to note that personal data remains secure within the iOS environment; no information is shared externally, including backups. All entries are saved locally on the device and will be removed upon app deletion. Additionally, encouragement alerts can be easily shared across social media platforms when they are received.
